An insane idea that I hope comes true

Recommended Posts

This suddenly struck me earlier today, and I hope this happens

They've made a Superion add on set: gave him some decent arms and feet now. wheyhey looks cool

They've now made a Bruticus set: Some extra figures of Blast Off and Swindle. Whey HEY looks amazing.....

What if they went all the way and made a full Devastator??????? :schin ???????

WIth what Hasbro gave them to work with, they'd probably be better off starting from scratch..

If they made new figures it would work for me though since I only have Steamhammer, 1 crane and 1 bulldozer.

Liege, that was exactly what I meant. Making a whole new set of all 6 characters, in FP's style. Looking at Swindle and Blast off, I think they'd do an excellent job of it

I think they might actualy skip though depending on what PCC brings. I have no doubt that the New Bruticus looking combiner reveiled yesterday is a huge part of the reason why they're rushing the Bruticus set to market.

yeah probably. It'll be cool to compare them side to side actually. But I dunno, Hasbro just seem to never get it right, well as FP are doing a damn god job so far, even if a little pricey.

It's a bit like when they were releasing start wars figures that had articulation in one arm and not the other. it just annoyed you

yeah, glad i never bought any of those.

A minor gripe I have with some of there figures like that are the MU 3.75 figurs with cleched fists.

Annoying!

It is a well known fact that Hasbro can't handle a ball, but sometimes they do get it right.

Same with FP though. Take City Commander. The legs snap on scary tight, however give him something to heavy to hold (like his gun) and those arm guards will slide right off.

I like FP's work, I like it alot, I just don't think they're the heaven send they're made out to be.

Insane idea? Probably not, I'm sure everybody thought of the same thing, myself included, that they would do it once the news about Superion came out.... but right now, I just want that Protector set already.

Agreed. it's been a while since we've had news of the Protector Armor. I wonder what its status is.
