he has sead that for this movie thier will only be 7 a side thier are five dinobots you can make a good TF when most of the atubot cast is retared

Your point made me laugh, but just to be clear, it's going to be about seven MAIN CHARACTERS per side, not seven characters TOTAL per side. And really, when you're talking about a 2 hour action movie, that's still a lot of characters to handle.

yeah, just like in X2. There'll be a main cast with a lotta background guys. It'll probably be similar to the generic Autobots and Decepticons they use as cannon fodder in Energon. Except instead of being generic, hopefully they'll use familiar characters.

you cant realy have the dinobots as background cast maybe sluge, snarl, slag and swoop but not grim. as they stick out to much to just fade into the background like somone like skids or beach comber

Yeah, having the Dinobots as background characters who are just sort of "there" would be a bit weird. 'Cuz, they're like, enormous robot dinosaurs and stuff. Can you say "audience bemusement?"

okay its live action and no beast or dinos, but they have to make toys and have the licences for major car manufacturers, SOUNDS LIKE ALTERNATORS, besides alternators still dont have a back story like binal tech... WONDER WHY?

I was wondering that same thing. Thaat plus I think that the ALTERNATORS/BINALTECH would be the most movie quality characters. Do you all think that we'll be seeing these in the movie, or are we looking more into the future ie: TRANSFORMERS GALAXYFORCE? :tftongue

Murphy reconfirmed time and again that the movie will be G1-based.

Yeah, after you shout that that you're like whoops! Because Cosmos sucked. Murphy's just saying what Hollywood will or won't allow. I still don't see how a community that produced a movie like "Without A Paddle" could have a problem with anything, much less mass change and robot dinosaurs.
