I Just Got Alternator Meister!

Recommended Posts

I just opened my meister - ordered from Walmart last week - and was instantly disapointed, I really hate the flat white, and the fact that many sections dont match in color, the sill plates (area right below the doors) is a bright white, where as many other areas are more of a off-white, the hood has the same thing ( the center door on the hood is a different shade of white. :redface

2. the doors open and then slide out (much like smokescreens) but mine are really loose and raddle back and forth. :redface

3. the pin/slot connectors for the arms under the hood are alittle hard to line up as is the stearing connection. :redface

4. the roof is slightly transparent and you can see the brackets on the underside. :redface

JUST LIKE MOST WHITE CARS THEY LOOK LIKE S*IT WHEN THEY ARE DIRTY AND THATS THE WAY THIS ALTERNATOR LOOKS - DIRTY MEISTER :tdown

Maybe Meister will grown on me, but right now its my least favorte of the line. (have the first 5) Its nice I guess, but nice isnt enough compared to the rest...

Well I guess I'll just wait for TRACK... be here by Wensday... and my transformer Joy will return... :thumb

what do you guys think?

Sorry for your misfortune. I got Meister from my local Wal-Mart store and he is easily my favorite Alt. Mine has none of the problems you stated. My paint matches perfect and none of him is transparent except the windows (j/k). While his doors do slide it doesn't slide real loosely and does not effect the overall figure. Perhaps you just got a faulty version and should look into exchanging it.

Damn feel ur pain man, I guess you could always Spray him white and use a clear coat to keep the white looking good.....just a thought.

yeah take it back, mine is quite superb

;)

I picked up Meister last week at my Walmart.I agree some parts are kind of loose( the back door of mine came off). But I love it I got him infront of all the other Alternators including 20th Prime

Man, Meister is easily my favorite alt!! Transformation is smooth and easy. Tight in both modes. Extremely articulated and dynamite plastic colors... sorry you don't feel the same

My red BT is by far my fave the only prop is a loose-ish left arm

This puts a reality check on me. All I've been able to think about all weekend is "I want my Tracks, please let it come no later than Tuesday." I've also been trying to find Meister while I'm waiting but now I'm scared that I wont be able to see if the colors match throught the packaging. I spend loads of time just looking at the beauty of my Alternators figures and if one was imperfect in some way it would drive me crazy. My Smokescreen's Subaru name in the back window is some how chipping off and I scratch the black paint near BT Hounds shoulders on the front car frame. When I look at those flaws it drives me I get pissed but not to the point where I want to buy another one.

Well mine was the same way, only worse, when I got him out of the walmart.com box, I noticed that his hood (which is two tone wasnt even attached to the car, taking him back this evening to the store
