Pulled this (lame) question out from the actual thread and felt i needed to comment on it to help.

Obviously your new, and welcome to the boards, but do you REALLY think Hasbro or anyone is gonna answer/pick this answer this question? Come on, be creative with something we might actually learn from or be interested in finding out.

Man, I feel like I should write a canned version of this I've written it so many times. So here it goes:

 

I pull the questions that (based on my previous experiences of the past Q&A sessions) I believe would have the best chance of getting answered by Hasbro. Some questions are quite off-base and don't have anything to do with Hasbro (direction of the comic book series is one I can think of off the top of my head).

 

After I have pulled the questions, I pass them by BaCon (Jack) for a sanity check and ship them over to Hasbro.

 

However, if I feel like there are 10 or more good questions (using the same criteria as listed above), then I put it up for vote. It will replace the Asking thread, so you won't miss it, don't worry.

 

Out of the six rounds we have had so far, I have only seen it about half of that time. So, I reopen it in the hopes of some new questions. This time is a little different, since we'll be out for the holiday, I won't have time to pore through the questions and vote (not like a lot of people will be around to vote, anyway), so I'll just grab questions the day of submission and shoot them over to Hasbro.

Yes, this tells me what i need to know. Thanks man. Also, i was away for like 3-4 months this year so maybe i missed this before? I remember seing the Q & A, but no voting. Anyways, i apprecaite the response.

so far, some of the questions are looking pretty good.

not a chance of it being picked to be asked.. but still.. a PERFECT question.

It is quite a perfect question. Of course, Hasbro won't tell you that. I can tell you what they'd say, though: "It's because I hate j00"

well, so far the questions I have asked seem to be pretty good ones. Hopefull they stay that way. To bad some of the things I really want to know will never get answered. Like, "If optimus prime could eat human food what color would his shirt be." But since I know that question is pointless why waste space and time on the thread for it.

 

So instead I asked about the process in deciding a new show and how to decide if it should be aimed at children or the older fans. I myself would love a series for older individuals but I do not see that happening any time soon. That is what the movies are for, right?

Just a mental note, but remember that the guys at Hasbro probably have no clue on cannon or mythos, so asking them comic/movie/show related questions might not get a good answer ;)
