BlazeMaster

What's everyone's thoughts on this little guy? I quite like him, his helicopter mode is sick, his transformation is interesting and his robot mode is freaky cool if you put his blades in his "hands" and put his tail on his shoulders.

I love how clean the alt is. They normaly do a good job on choppers, but all that bot crammed into that small space without any real kibble sacradice is amazing.

The transformation is not for the faint of heart. There are a ton of tight turns and narrow flips. The type of figgure you feel releaved after changing if you didn't put it through a wall first.

The robot, alot of hit and misses. I hate the arms. It's Jazz Hands on Popeye arms, and the kibble pannels on the body could be cool as outter sheilding, but mainly get in the way. The tail fin kibble is actualy pretty cool how it lines up,. The head is to sunken in, he needs a neck.

Last off are the legs. Twiggy little things, with tiny feet, that clutch and balance far netter then youd think. The legs are the saving part of the bot. Most figures have to be posed, this guy you can just plop right down and he'll stand perfect. It's really cool.

My verdict, get him, just don't pay to much for him.

Although, i dont have him, its nice to know those "sticks" for legs can hold him up well.

Like i said in the other thread about the "alternate" mode :pics

This is how I transform BlazeMaster. It's hard to see his head in the photos, but it's pretty obvious when you're messing with him.

LOVE him THIS is what an alien robot looks like. Not like the sentimemtality that G1 has THIS is an intimidating mini-giant the kind of being that you would be genuinely unsure of coming to your rescue.. "Is he just saving me to kill me himself?"

Has anyone tried painting this figure yet? I'll probably get him and do so myself.

He is getting the Evac treatment

I have a crossover or two worked out..

Just need to find a second..

It's weird, you'd think that stores would be swapping the old stock out with new stock, just to keep it moving. As is, my local Walmarts and Targets are always filled with the exact same stock.

I did an experiment a while back. I used my fingernail to etch a "V" in the back of the packaging of several Deluxes and Voyagers, 10 in total. A month later I went back and 8 of those transformers were still there.

It's kind of pathetic, y'know? We should be seeing lots of BlazeMasters and Thrusts and Jolts and Arcees, but the stock just moves too slow.
