can anyone tell whether or not his finger tips are articulated? i doubt they are, but it'd be a nice touch.

 

anyone else think the arms and the lower legs look absolutely incredible. those hidden gattling guns look perfect, i love the way they hid them.

 

i really can't get over this figure. i bet the F22 mode is incredible as well.

 

it's a shame megatron wasn't executed as well as starscream and prime.

yeah, it does look like they're articulated, i just hope they're not fake joints, it seems like there are a few ROTF that have joints on their fingers that look real but aren't. if these are fake, they're really great looking fake joints.

 

and as far as the alt mode, i definitely believe that there will be an extreme lack of alt mode kibble. it looks like a lot of effort was put into the robot mode, similar to prime. now with jetfire and megatron.. their robot modes don't look too accurate.. and have not so great alt modes.. so if you go by that.. the F22 should be very sleek and impressive. and hey.. if they can get the voyager starscream to have that nice and accurate a bot mode while still having a really great alt mode.. this leader starscream should be able to do the same.

 

my one worry is the color.. i really really hope that it's not just molded tan plastic. i can't wait to see what they do with the cybertronian designs and symbols, hopefully those will be fairly accurate as well. and ya never know, maybe takara will produce a premium leader starscream.. now that would be impressive.

 

my voyager starscream (after painting it) worked well for a while.. but since the human alliance figures have come out.. he's not fitting in so well with the rest of the figures.. can't have starscream being smaller than bumblebee.. looks strange.

 

anyone else as impressed as i am with the level of detail on the arms an legs?

 

oh.. i'm also just praying that the head has free movement.. and isn't like megatron or jetfire where it just moves via a gimmick.. that's such a terrible idea and can really ruin a figure.

 

oh and one more thing.. i really want to know if the wing looking panels behind the wings on the shoulders can be positioned so that they look like they were in the movie.

my God. this figure is absolutely incredible. looks like the wing pieces on his shoulders need to be fiddled with a bit, but my main concern was the legs, they really hadn't gotten the legs quite right, but this figures legs look excellent, the head is wonderful, the hands, the arms, everything looks really great.

 

now watch them ruin it by molding it in tan plastic, if that's the case then this prototype will look more accurate.

 

i wonder what the alt mode will look like.

 

I always like EVERY figure better in the grey prototype color. I dunno why. Maybe it's just a good color to show detail and contrast.

I will buy this in whatever color they make it... but please not tan. If it comes with tats I can always just remove those if they are too over the top.

I'm looking forward to this when they release it for TF3 :P

i heard that these stills were taken from one of the special features on the ROTF dvd.. does anyone know whether this is true or not?
