The only ultra sized figures that I bought so far were Landmine Scorponok and Ultra Magnus, and I only bought UM because of the G1 homage and transforming sound effect. Other than that, that mold is pretty much a brick and it frustrates me a little because there are many areas where they could have added more articulation.

Ultra Mangus (Overload) is really nothing more than a weapons upgrade for Armada Optimus Prime....not unlike Godbomber for Powermaster Optimus Prime, that just happen to also transform into robots.

 

But its more than clear that their main goal in life is to be some sort of add-on for prime and nothing more....kinda wrong but what can ya do.

Exactly. They should do a correct Energon Magnus. Methinks it would be sweet.

And I must add-I now have Energon Megs :tfgrin

I agree about the cons'. I now have every Enercon except for Battle Ravage (I hate hate hate his robot mode although I'll probably just break down and get him anyways :tftounge ) And they are all awesome. Megatron is just insane. What he lacks in poseability he makes up in sheer intimidation. The Autobots just aren't as impressive.

The Autobots aren't intimidating at all. Kinda like trying to scare a small child with Elmo. 'Cons are definately the stars in this series

hmmm...the new hotshot sucks, super sentai prime is the worst prime yet..., prowl aint that good...Ironhide is a sissy...(whoever hard of TFs that had their heads too in vehicle form?)

 

The decepticons are much better toys. Superior poseability, better vehicle shapes, better robot shapes, better weapons...autobots 0, decepticons 2.

Decepticon are better.(Yes, I bought StarScream Divebomb even I don't collect Decepticon a lot.(I got SuperLink Megatron))

 

Autobot Powerlink Deleux are ok. Single figure is bad. PowerLinked Rocks.(unlimited)

I'm thinkin of RID Magnus and the diaclone original was an add-on for Prime. Fine. Convoy. :D

Landmine turns the Autobots around for me also. The also have the Omnicons which, execpt for Divebomb, have been much better than the Terrorcons. IMO of course. :tfgrin
