Staltzer Silent Soldier renders (done in 3Ds Max):

Right now I'm creating a fiction around this "mech," Staltzer, which I will eventually animate. With the exception of the fingers, Staltzer is completely rigged.

EDIT: UPDATE:

I finished off the effects on Staltzer. He now has a "Line Art" quality to him. Also, the pictures of this pose are epic:

The green outline is simply an artifact of the transparency 3Ds Max did when it saved it out as a .png.

EDIT: UPDATE:

Messed with the materials some more and gave him better eyes.

Prefers the green outline one, looks like an energy flowing over her.

I suppose I could mess with particle systems and see about being able to replicate that in more common situations. The only problem is that damn model all ready pushes my poor computer to its limit. Almost crashes every time I render it.

very cool

I have some animations of him jumping done. It'll take a while for them to be uploaded to Youtube, though.

EDIT: The jumping videos. They're of the same animation, just different cameras.

EDIT: Fucking Youtube hates my short videos. Never plays them right, always choppy in the beginning and end.

You know what you could use this as? Jack Skellington's battle mech.. :tfgrin

Nah, man. I've got far bigger plans for Staltzer. He's not simply a battle mech and he will fucking OWN.

Think of him as a mix between theEnd and Nirvash, but with a HELL of a lot more personality and an actual back story. His design was mostly inspired from theEnd, though a lot of the ideas I've had for a while.

(Nirvash was a protector and theEnd was an obsessive pervert, that's, unfortunately, as deep as their characters went. After that they were supplemented by Renton, Eureka and Anemone)

Some new poses and better eyes. Also, the hands are rigged.

Those two LFOs are from Eureka seveN. It's a good show. You should watch it. Far better than anything Transformers.

A surfing cow and a jet with a hard on?
