AQ looks like a good figure for a TF drought otherwise there's better stuff to get, as always, the Alts are a must get :D

Very nice, but one question: Shouldn't Alpha-Q have at least four faces? The box says and shows that there are only three. A little disappointing IMO. It still looks nice though.

I've checked the TFW2005 forum, funny a lot of guys don't notice that "Quint" means FIVE, not FOUR. "Quat" or "Quad" as in "Quatro" stands for four, like "quadrangle" has four sides, so they should be bickering about Alpha Q having two heads fewer than his name indicates him to be.

That's why the name "Alpha-Q" makes more sense. The "Q" just denotes his home planet, Planet-Q...it doesn't mean "Quintesson" in the show...Also, poeple are complaining because he has four faces in the show, they aren't making comments about his name. There was always a blank spot for a fifth face, but when that voice spoke, as an angry child, the helmet shut closed, because the child personality refused to show itself...so we dunno what the 5th face/mask looks like.

This is also due to Hasbro's ridiculous censorship.

 

In another department, one could also assume "Quintesson" is derived from "Quintessential", being how they fancied themselves as all-knowing and the judges of the universe.

 

Highwire and Kicker is a neat set, but Kicker really needs to be repainted with more colors. Right now, it looks like a Kicker-type generic soldier...Sort of like how the Cobra guards looked, in contrast to Cobra Commander?

 

Alpha-Q toy is bad ass and is easily the coolest thing previewed out of any of it. The alts are cool and all, but easily slip into being boring, based on real cars, which are nothing to brag about, let alone act as an appropriate body for a war machine. I'll probably buy Swindle to repaint into Trailbreaker, but I don't like Grimlock...mainly because I hate his character.

i always thought that they were quintessons cause they were from planet quintessa, or Q's for the planet Q in energon, not cause they had 5 faces, although that does match
