Looks like it would make a great mold for some of the more hefty G1 characters. And yes, it does remind me of X-Brawn, too.

 

I wonder if Brawn or Ironhide would have a thing about only using American cars for their alt. modes .... :usa

BTW Brawn was a Land Rover, so that vehicle would be about the right size.

Doesnt seem badass enough to me. It'd work as Ironhide, or as a little different direction for Red alert but for Brawn...nah. If they dont go the more likely route of yet another repaint of Hound, Id say a Jeep Rescue, Jeep Liberty or Nissan XTerra.

a Hummer would work.

i always perfered the idea of making Hound a hummer.

the hummer rocks, but not very good for a scout, and since some version of the willy's jeep was still being made it was perfect to use the wrangler.

 

 

And as for brawn, since he died like a punk in TFTM he should be a jeep liberty

They have to use the name every year in order to retain copyright. Hence Energon "Megatron", even though he was going to be called "Galvatron" in the US. They needed to re-use the name "Megatron" or they'd lose it to the Yu-Gi-Oh! people or something.
