Also, Hasbro is not doing anything for 'us.' Hasbro produces toys to make money. Hasbro is not doing me or anyone else a favor. They are a corporate entity that exists to make money.

Case in point: you went the Supreme Devastator route and went on about 'thinking of our children.' If Hasbro was 'thinking of the children,' then we would not have needed to wait for Costco to reduce the price tag on him. Hasbro would have done that already. Do you go into stores? Have you seen people's general reaction to him? HE COSTS TOO MUCH. He is out of the range of being a 'kid's toy.' He's being sold at a near MP level price-point, and while I have him and like him, he is nowhere near MP quality and is missing actual components. 'Thinking of the children?' At $100.00 BEFORE tax? In a recession? Missing at least one component that TAKARA managed to include at legends scale? Are you serious?

I wouldn't say he's out of the range of being a kid's toy, but Dev should have been released now, not months ago. He's a big Christmas gift item, not a regular shopping trip with Mom or allowance splurge purchase.

By the way, I don't have rich parents and I'm not a noob. Sorry. I pay my own way. Also, I'm one of those individuals who've been around from the very beginning. When you have been collecting for 25 years, you know that there is, simply put, either some characters you won't see in toy form or, if a certain character is released--let's say, G1 Galvatron, shall we..?--the respective figure will be a poor representation of what we saw on screen. It's a valid observation AND complaint, and it's not just restricted to any single TF continuity.

Now, because I am not a noob,I can see that more care, attention and money was put into the G1 figures, irregardless of articulation or show-accuracy. They are higher-quality across the board. Which would indicate that Hasbro is raising the prices of their toys while 'giving us' a lower grade of toy, irregardless of articulation.

More care & money spent on G1? What do you mean? I'm not knocking the quality of G1 - for the time it was great. But I can't see where Hasbro worked harder on G1, especially the first 2 years, when everything was Japanese repaints. If anything, Hasbro spent less money & attention on the early stuff. All the engineering was already done.
