Slugslinger is TM compatible?

I just grabbed the Energon Slugslinger at Wal-Mart yesterday. Very nice!

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but he appears to be compatible with the original Slugslinger's Targetmaster companion.

I don't have that one, but the TMs seem to have all had the same size posts to fit in the hands. I tried one out and it fits right in. Then I don't think this is a coincidence because he also has two spots in vehicle mode where the gun can also fit. Sorry if this has been mentioned or pictured before, but I thought it was cool and hadn't heard.

A nice touch to an already great design! :clap

I hadn't heard that before. It may just be coincidence that the "standard-sized peg" of Energon is the same size as that of the 3rd year + G1 toys, but it's still a cool coincidence.

Not all TF weapons are standard sized, and this is especially expressed in the RID toy line. I've found that the only RID weapon that fits in the hands of my Energon figures was the Optimus Prime gun that becomes a wheel in vehicle mode just under the front bumper. But Armada and Energon weapons all come with standard size for the weapon handles, so that's cool.
