Looking for parts

Recommended Posts

I went to Hasbro.com's email page and emailed them with requests for e. toys replacement parts, but they refused. Do you guys know anybody who I can contact for the following parts or have suggestions for me to acquire them, not criminally. The parts are the following:

Ironhide: The shoulder pad that has the Gold Powerlinx Logo

Optimus Prime: Gun and Missile

Inferno: Grey leg pieces

So please, if you guys know anybody, or have an idea as to how I can acquire these replacement pieces, I'd love to hear from you.

You can just reply on this topic, or if you feel that I should hear your idea personally, just email me at the following:

nlandy@rochester.rr.com

The problem is, is that I think that they're probably just trying to get more money than's necessary. I know for a fact that when I had gotten the RID Optimus Prime, and they're were still producing that one in bulk, one of the Battle Mode shoulder pads broke, I asked for a replacement, and they sent one right out to me. Now, they're saying that these pieces will never be available for spare parts. I think that I would like to have a letter sent to their Consumer Staisfaction board or whoever's in charge :tfmad :tfmad :tfmad

ARGH!!!!!! :tfmad :tfmad :tfmad

I got a response from Hasbro concerning my needed replacement pieces.

Here's what they said:

Noah,

Regrettably we do not have the parts you have requested available, nor will we ever receive them. They are not part of our inventory.

We appreciate your interest and thank you for your understanding.

It's so stupid. I don't see why they'll never have it part of their inventory. I thought that toy manufactuers were required to have replacement parts for separate shipment if they're needed at all by consumers. Not to mention, it's just a nice honest thing to do for convenience. :tfmad :tfmad :tfmad

I don't know about "required." Hasbro didn't include a warranty with your toy purchase. I've broken my share of toys over the years, but that's my problem, not the toy company's.

towline weapon, not broke

Is this a common problem? Mine was broken when I got him as well.

The ball of the rectangular "antenna" seems to have broken the socket of the extending arm when it was assembled. I tried to fix it, but that transparent red plastic is too brittle to repair effectively.
