i thought about a ratbat figure, maybe repainting a transmetal sonar. he would maybe be brought in by soundwave later in the series. rumble/frenzy i thought about as minicons crosswise//rook ,but the size was a problem. unless the were to increase their size .their combination could still work making them more dangerous when they combined as a new decepticon with their earthquake abilites increased 10x fold.( good name:ramulas). as far as slugfeast and overkill could'nt think of anything. you have any ideas? :thumb

Well, doing one in a minidisc shouldn't be TOO hard - after all, the cassettes from G1 weren't exactly detailed figures.

 

The challenge would be figuring out a way to transform a minidisc to where it really looks like a robot, and not have a bunch of really fragile pieces that would be really easy to break.

I was not thinkng about toys, but I guess that's the best approach. Better to design the character thinking in a possible toy than just threw up whatever looks cool.

 

I maybe wrong but the "new" designs could be more or less like the originals, except for some new details to make them look different.

 

Anyway I am looking forward to see more Soundwave drawings.

I was watching my Transformers Season 1 DVD's today, and I realized, that if they make him a CD player, Laserbeak, and Buzzsaw, since they're "twins", would be easy. In the first episode "More Than Meets the Eye Part 1", after Wheeljack and Bumblebee get to Iacon, Soundwave releases Laserbeak, and he's a little rounder and less stocky than his Earthen form of a cassette. Though I know that there wasn't much difference, but hey, it makes sense.
