I picked this up last weekend when TRU had their 3 for 2 sale. I really liked the Megatron figure. Even thought it was much smaller, and not show accurate. His smaller size makes it look much more detailed. The Prime isn't that great, but he is less chunckie as the other Prime. It is realy fun to Powerlink as well. What do y'all think?

I noticed that if you slide small Prime's thighs down to become his calves, his proportions are even less chunky.. I just wish they'd have put this feature on the big Prime.

I didn't realize that this Prime was so tiny. Megs is pretty good, I'm glad that his sword is green in this version.

The smaller Megs is cool, but I think I like the darker colors on "Biggee" Megs more.

 

Tiny Prime is okay. Not too impressed with either of his Powerlinx modes. The best thing about him is the sliding thighs. He looks so much better with them down.

I'm loving the Plinx Prime's Chrome Plate. I like him as torso, not legs (ultra baggy pants? =P)

 

I wish I didn't get my big Megatron now, I don't know which to put up now!?

show accuracy on megatron is probably closer on the TRU smaller version. The blues are swapped around on the Walmart/MassRelease Megatron.

 

Both are excellent figures and both have flaws. The blue swap kinda kills the overall show accuracy for me. Larger megatron is also slightly darker - which isn't a bad thing. The panels on smaller megatron's shoulders are orange - which is wrong. Also, the entire shoulder piece is a lighter shade of grey on the show. Well, grey is grey.

 

That being said, the smaller version is more accurate due to the shades of blue being in the correct places. Neither is perfect however.

I have the bigger versions of both but I want this too

The larger version is much cooler in every way, but the gift set was a much better deal. The large ones were just not in my spending range. I wasn't sure when I saw them, but I am really glad that I did get them.
