Vainest Transformer(s)?

Recommended Posts

Wasn't PowerGlide vain as hell, too?

He was extremely boastful.

Warpath was vain about his cannon and his abilities; Starscream was extremely vain; Powerglide was more cocky than vain--but then again, he DID seem really vain about his abilities; G1 Buzzsaw was characterized as a vain, pretentious artist and I'm pretty sure the obscure double Targetmaster Needlenose was kinda sorta vain as well (among other things). With all that said, none of these guys compared to the extreme vanity of Tracks...who himself was a very distant second to the malignant self-love portrayed by Sunstreaker, who was a fucking sociopath.

Oops. Forgot G1 Hook, and I'm sure a handful of others.

Buzzsaw was said to be vain in his bio but never depicted as such in the show (sorry dont know about comics), mainly because Buzzsaw was hardly in the show and cassettes aside from Rumble and Frenzy never seemed to express any sort of emotion.

I never paid much attention to the comics, either. Buzzsaws' bio was a lot more appealing than his cup 'o' coffee on the cartoon--but that was kind of the state of affairs for Soundwave's cassette brigade.

Yeah, the cassettes got the shaft :/

ESPECIALLY Blaster's cassettes.

Oh, yeah. Their treatment was straight-up SHAMEFUL...especially their voices (Ramhorn and Steeljaw, at least). Did Rewind and Eject ever even actually do anything in the show (outside of the whole minute one of them was in 'Madman's Paradise')?

Hold up: I forgot all about 'Commander Modesty' himself, Sky Lynx. He was as vain and pompous as the day is long.

Well they had a bit fight in the movie :/

Hey if you were as awesome as Sky Lynx, you'd be sure to let everyone know at every given moment.

Good one! I had just read his Wikipedia page not too long ago when I decided to buy the Encore toy. I forgot all about his vanity.

Oh, dude. Sky Lynx OWNS. My lord, his figure just plain owns.

Breaker: I hear you. I'd be talking head all day long to everyone who'd listen. It's not really bragging if you really are THAT awesome.

Here we go...now it's all coming back to me: Wideload was vain as hell, and wasn't Chase, too? Or was he just two-faced?

Dead End was vain (according to his techspec) kinda makes him being put in Sunstreakers BT body a bit funny IMO

How'd I forget about Dead End (my second favorite Stunticon)??? And it is funny as hell.

Now I'm drawing a blank. There are plenty of arrogant and stuck-up Transformers...but the number who are just plain undeniably vain? There's not too terribly many.

lol, wasn't he the Stunticon that kept using big words in the cartoon?

Yep...the chronically depressed one. God, I miss the Stunticons.

Kind of scaping the bottom of the barrel here, but I think G1 Crossblades was vain, too.

i'm going to have to agree with the afformentioned. tracks was pretty bad, but sunstreaker had a complex....
