Of course he does. The G1 one was not Earthen based.

G1 magnus cab is a semi, so that makeshim earthen based, but RID Magnus looks more realistic as a car transport than his G1 counterpart.

I was mainly talking about his trailer, also I forgot about the Prime twin semi thing he had going on.

It never bothered me I just thought it was cool to put the Autobot brothers on him.

I love RID Magnus' alt mode. I keep him in that mode while he isn't combined with RID Prime to make Omega Prime.

His alternate mode was designed in a nod to his G1 alternate mode, which was also a car transport, but the RID version doesn't have the same missile launchers as the G1 character did. But none the less, it's just a homage or a nod to his G1 alternate mode. Did you guys even think about that at all before starting this forum???? :tfhuh

2. Most of RID had somewhat realistic alt modes (the autobots anyway)

 

3. Of course it was a nod to G1 magnus that doesn't, however, preclude the possibilty of a modeled alt mode
