Well, things were pretty grim here, but last week new stuff arrived. Now i have the new basic recolors, downshift, towline, sharkticon, hot shot redeco and lots AND I DO MEAN LOTS of Alternator Dead-End, Silverstreak and Hound.

 

 

Mega and Ultra sized figures haven't shown yet. Last energon mega I got was Mirage and that was some time ago now.

i finally got a sharkticon and downshift last week, but i haven't seen anymore of them anywhere since. the recolor omnicons and terrorcons are pretty easy to find. i haven't seen towline, slugslinger, not ONE new alternator (only sideswipe and smokescreen), not one mirage...ever! no shockblast, cliffjumper, or bulkhead...and i live in the chicago area! so it's not like i'm in some small market area, and i'm out checking most stores every other day.

 

but i do expect that come christmas time these stores should probably have all these figures coming out of their bungholes. stores start stockpiling toys at the end of the summer so a lot of what they get doesn't get out on to shelves until then.

My Walmarts only have the 1st wave of Energon, full priced 1st wave Alternators, and full priced MPOP.

In my area of Michigan, it worked out like this...

 

We hadn't seen anything new since May, when I found Arcee, Mirage and Demolishor. Since then I have not seen Mirage again, spotted Arcee one other time and would occasionally see Demolishor.

 

It stayed this way for about 4 months - with the exception of Omega Supreme, who was strangely immediately available at all the Targets and Walmarts in my area. During the 4 month period, I bought various figures from online retailers. I got tired of wasting my gas.

 

And then last Saturday I bought Nemesis Prime (DPCI # trick), Downshift and Slugslinger and saw Alts Hound and Silverstreak, and all the other new Energon deluxes at my local Target stores.

 

Then on Sunday, I saw Dead End at the nearby Walmart.

 

And a week before that, I saw Bulkhead (in the original Energon packaging) at Meijer.

 

These guys should start showing up in your areas soon. If you guys have been waiting as long as I have, you deserve them.

Why don't you comparison shop online? If you wait until a brick and mortar store carries the TF you might never find anything.

Well mainly cause I try never to use my credit card unless for emergency. And there is something about the hunt that gives me a bit of a thrill, you know, but it can also be a major disappointment.

I hear you with the disappointment issue, but you also need to think about GAS and the time you are spending hunting and finding next to nothing. What a waste. If you order it online many places take USPS Money Orders, you just need to find out which ones and the same goes for evilbay sellers, most take USPS MOs.

MAN, I'm starting to get po'ed as well, here. I've been going to the local TRU, Walmart, and Zellers and I haven't seen the new Alts yet. It's not even like they have many of the old ones, either (like, maybe 1-3 Smokescreens), so I don't know what they're waiting for.

 

I have recently seen the newer Energon figures, and I'm tempted to pick some of them up, but I really can't afford collecting another line right now (plus, I don't want them to take up TOO much space!). So things are looking up, I guess.

 

I imagine I won't be able to pick up the newer Alts 'til I go home to Ontario for Christmas...

I've only seen Bulkhead once and only seen Hound and Silverstreak a few times but no Dead End. No sign of Tow-line, Downshift, Sharkticon, Slugslinger or Shockblast which is what I'm really looking for...

I just saw a bunch of the new TF Universe figs. Soundwave, Whirl, the Unicorn two-pack and some others that I can't remember the names of :P

Same here... but at the WM I work at, Hasbro pulled all the Armada Unicrons to finally make way for new shipments.

My TRU surprised me they actually got in the new stuff before anyone else. Same with Target.

 

In the past weeks I've picked up Sharkticon, Slugslinger, Deadend, Nemesis Prime and Shockblast.

 

I saw Energon Ironhide, Dreadwing, Cliffjumper, and Shockblast at TRU. At Target was Sharticon, Slugslinger, Energon Hot Shot, and NP.

 

As for Bulkhead, Landquake, Energon Ironhide, and Dreadwing I bought em off of Joel at BBTS. I was tired of wasting gas. I wound up getting em maybe the day or 2 before I found all of em at TRU.
