It looks ok. Anybody have pics of Primes regular bot mode?

Lemme guess; neither Jetfire matches this combo?

Not too fond of Overload. :tdown Optimus looks ok.

But if this is just $30, this pack is a steal. Even on sale Armada Optimus still costs 30 Euro!

I managed to snag the Powerlinx version off eBay last year for just 20 Euro (including shipping). He was not mint but in good condition and only missing one missile. He transforms just fine. How about that. :tftongue

This is an awesome deal. I like how they both look. However, I don't think there is a Costco anywhere near me. Is Costco online? Will I be able to get this combo through the internet?

Hang on a min..this is the same Armada Prime that almoste EVERYONE loathed with wanton abandon, right?

The one which noone wanted amd loads of us actually were quoted as "having returned him back to the shops in disgust"?

The same one with bugger all posability and looked "The Creature From the Black Lagoon"?

The one that didn't sell?

Aand some of you want to buy him...with a hastily created paintjob...AGAIN?

Costco is one of those warehouse membership type places, I think it costs around $35 a year to join. Probably not worth it if you don't already have a membership.

must have just been you.

I really liked Armada Prime.

I think that the yellow Overload looks stupid

I like Armada Superbase Prime as well, may not be perfect, but his truck mode is great. I don't like those colour schemes, are they trying to make people's eyes bleed with these loud colour schemcs? Yuk. No idea what Overload is like, still waiting to get him. And of course, they, like so many other TF's and Universe, won't be released in the UK and Europe.

That's a complete exaggeration. Armada Prime was one of the best, most experimental and interesting toys to come out of the entire line. He had a good deal more posability than much of the venerated 'Geewun', had an amazing (truly amazing) gimmick and combined into one of the fiercest looking Gestalts ever seen. Really, aside from a somewhat undesirable lack of posability and a disconcertingly weak bulb, there was nothing wrong with this toy.

And no, this isn't the toy that 'almost everyone loathed'. As you can see, many of us quite liked him.
