MP prime smoke stacks

Recommended Posts

For us poor saps who have a 20th anniversary MP prime with no smoke-stacks, what would you recommend to use to add some?

Either some plastic in the same diameter, e.g. styrene, simply glued on top of the original smokestacks (with the paint sanded down at the connecting spot), sanded until it's smooth, and finally repainted silver or chrome (depending on your version ... I only have the silver one :sad )

Or one of the luckier members could recast the longer stacks some dozen times and sell them to us for acceptable money (materials + shipping + a buck)

Or hunt down a pair of the replacement smokestacks that were available some years ago... but that'd probably be quite expensive.
