Need Longer Smokestacks/Tailpipes for 2007 Movie Ironhide!

Can anyone tell me where I can get longer smokestacks/tailpipes for 2007 Movie Voyager Class Ironhide OR at least tell me how to make them longer?

Either from a right-scaled model of that vehicle,

 

or (probably cheaper) you just unscrew them, saw them off right after the screwhole, glue some plastic tube of the same diameter in between, sand it a bit, repaint it and screw it back on.

 

 

So what you need is either

- a (probably) 1:30 scaled model of that vehicle

- glue

(- paint if the model is unpainted)

 

or

- 3mm diameter plastic tubing

- a precise saw

- crazyglue/model-glue

- a fine file or sandpaper

- paint (preferably chrome or silver)

 

I would choose the second way, but right now I'm still happy with how they look.
