Pics of ROTF Voyager Mixmaster

Personally, I like the first Michael Bay TF flick. Was it as good at the animated movie? NO! But I did enjoy it and I will happily enjoy the sequel. That's really sad if you honestly think a movie can destroy your childhood.

Speaking of movies, wouldn't it be awesome if there was a Transformers Animated movie with CGI done Pixar or ILM? I mean the character would still be the same as they look on Animated, but fully rendered in 3D with the same voice actors. That would make my day!!!

What is that??? Whose idea was it to make the coolest combiner TF in history into total Turds? I remember the constructicons being cool, not looking like a half-malformed robot with wheels on their arms. Each time I see pics of another movie TF I just get a little more and more disappointed. I know in the movie they will be cool because they are REAL cars, but the toys just aren't doing it for me so far.

I personally think that HASBRO doesn't really care about the fans at this point, since almost all of the characters have deviated from what we know from the originals. I say buy what you like. I think Hasbro and Bay are doing what they want and feel that it doesn't really matter people will buy it regardless. I agree that these figures will probably fly off the shelves and we will be complaining that we can't find any of them. I think that if they were all $5 on clearance........everyone would buy them even if they didn't like them at all. :lol

The only Movie TFs I bought was Ultimate Bumblebee and deluxe Bumblebee. I wound up selling both as I was very disappointed with the deluxe one. The Ultimate one was cool, but I just can't stand the heads they made for all the robots. I liked the Leader Class Prime, but nearly everyone else I thought was kind of lame. Oh, I forgot I did buy a Ratchet, but I did so to do a custom, so I didn't really count it. I guess though, since I paid for it I should huh? :redface

I hope the movie justifies these crappy toys, because from what I see, the only money I will be spending on TF:ROTF is for 2 movie tickets.

*oh why didn't they just use the Alternator/Binaltech line for the movie...they were already there...and they were real cars.....man what a waster.....could have seen some really cool TF and really cool cars too*

I thought I saw something where they showed the Animated movie and then switched it over to a fully rendered 3D fight between Megatron and Optimus. I thought they were doing this....maybe not Pixar or ILX but I thought I remember seeing a small clip of it a while ago too. That would be awesome I think. That is kinda of like what George lucas did only doing it for the fans not for his wallet with Star Wars when it was rereleased in the theatres.

A whole generation would get to see what we enjoyed as kids....just re-mastered...... :lol

Binaltech is far too simplistic for a good movie robot. That kinda basic transformation wouldnt have wowed the general public at all

Not sure what you mean about simplistic? It takes me at least 2-3 minutes to transform one of them, but I'm not sure if that's what you meant.

I kind of like simple and I think that if done correctly, they could have wowed the general public & please the fans. I guess I just like them to have more G1 animated faces rather than all those complicated indistinguishable faces they put on them. Also the fact that more than just GM vehicles (excluding the Saleen Mustang) are represented in the line too.

I'm just glad I didn't talk about Starsceam....I just got finished reading the posts between Hobbes and you about his inability to smirk. I will say that I did not like his voice at all in the movie..smirk or none. He was however a bad ass plane.....
