Finally found wreck-gar after a while of looking, the worst part I'm sure Wal-mart is against me. I go there one night all they have is one Atomic Lugnut on the shelf, ONE! with room for three facings. The NEXT night I go in and theres no Lugnut but one Wreck-gar nothing else. Don't get me wrong I got him there on the spot but this has to mean either they sold out in one day of over a box of figures and all passed on wreck-gar (which since my WM doesn't sell that many Transformers alone in one day) I don't buy this idea, That means that they put one figure out of a 4 figure box out on a shelf that hold 6 figures... WTF!?!

:tflaugh

:roll

:animated is for kids - OMG!

So if Animated figures such as Waspinator, with all his sharp pointy parts, is meant for kids. I guess that means Wreck-Gar must be meant for babies ages 0-4.

Either way, that still leaves me waiting for a proper garbage truck Transformer!

Is he really that rare? I'm starting to feel like I should have picked him up when I saw him...

I havent seen one in stores... Had to get mine online...

First wave TF's are always "rare" or hard to find. Wait until the next wave or two come out and then WG will be shelf warmer.

Keep in mind end of march is when the stores start to restock normally - any restocking we've seen so far this year is just bonus!

I don't really get the "he looks playskool" comments though - I mean Bashing the :animated designs is old news. It's like complaining about movie designs.

And I hear the Backpack complaints - but it's Show Accurate. My only complaint is that it doesn't realy open so that you can hold stuff in it (pure :win would have been a miniature or legends size G1-WG that fits inside the Backpack.) But again, its a small complaint.

The robot mode for WG has so much personality and he looks great on display. He's solid and reasonably fun to play with.

And for those of us who were alive in the 80's - he's super nostalgiarific with out being redundant.

Yeah, they said that about Blitzwing too, but I've only ever seen him once on shelves since he was released. Just one mind you and I bought him. And this was a couple months ago.

See, there you go - I see him all the time now.

But I don't is the point I'm making, maybe your Target has better restocking scheduales than mine, but still. I mean, everybody else has had these Shockwave and Sunstorm packs on shelves for a couple weeks now while my Target continues to get in nothing but the Blazing Lockdown wave of deluxes.

I think people are freaking out cause the movie stuff is coming soon... It seems some stores are holding off on ordering a lot of TFA stock...

I wonder why Wreck-Gar is so hard to find... I mean, seriously. He's so hard to find right now that HasbroToyShop doesn't even have him listed in the :animated Voyagers section.

Blitzwing wasn't found for the longest time either, though. Within the last month I've finally seen some regular stock... 4mos after I found mine by sheer luck.

I saw him once a couple months ago and passes. This weekend I saw him all over. Since 2 of my nephews have birthdays this month, and my niece likes Transformers too. I snagged 3.

I opened the one for my niece to harvest the weapons(she won't know), and I have to say I don't like it. The head is nice, but the whole figure is just to clean. He's supose to be made of junk, and being streamlined just throws it off.

No QC issues though.

As for him being tough to find, end of the line figures normaly are.
