Who is going to SDCC?

Recommended Posts

This isn't about TFs but I couldn't think of where else to put this that it'd be widely seen. Mattel is selling Anti-Monitor figures for $10 at SDCC, and I really want one but I live over here in MD. So if someone is going and wouldn't mind picking it up for me I'd really appreciate it. I'll give the person $5 for shipping and $10 for their time for a total of $25. So who wouldn't mind helping me out with this.

Man, for you it'd be for cost all the help you've given members with quick fixes and all!

But sadly, SDCC is on the other side of the for me.

Hope this bump gets you some attention though. Also, did you try Mattel's site, I know for SDCC they put up preorders same as HTS.

Thank you my friend. Yeah I've tried their site but all they have on there is stands for the figures $12.99 + s&h for 40. Thank you again for the bump.

I'll give y'a bump too, cause I'm curious. What's/Who is an "Anti-Monitor"?

Also, would you might get better results in the Convention Organization section?

The Anti-Monitor is the being who tried to devour the DC Multiverse back in '85. The heroes of the 5 earths he didn't devour defeated him at the terrible cost of many of their family friends, and fellow heroes. After that the time lines of the different earths were merged into 1 DC earth. Then Alex Luthor of the forgotten earth 3 where the DC Heroes are villains and his father Lex Luthor is earth's sole hero brought him back with the help of the Superboy from earth Prime another forgotten world in the '05 Infinite Crisis Series. Alex then tricked the Villains of the current DC earth in the guise of Lex Luthor of the current DC earth into helping him collect certain heroes and villains who were from different earths, and put them into a tower which contained the Anti-Monitor. Once they had all of the ppl he needed Alex started playing god separating the earth into multiple earths once more trying to find a perfect earth. Then when he wasn't happy with any of the ones he found he started mixing them until the heroes of the current earth found him and put a stop to him. The Anti-Monitor was destroyed when the tower containing him was destroyed by Superboy-Prime, and Kon-El (the Conner Kent Superboy) the later of whom died in the fight and the former was captured and imprisoned on OA by the Green Lanterns of earth with the blessings of the Guardians. Later on the Anti-Monitor was reborn in the Anti-Matter dimension becoming the Sinestro Corps Guardian of Fear. He then recruited the Cyborg Superman, and Superboy-Prime who now was calling himself Superman-Prime, and Parallax who was using Kyle Reyner as it's host. At the end of the Sinestro Corps War he was knocked away to an unknown planet where a black power battery similar to the green one on OA formed around him. This presumably ushers in the beginning of the darkest night prophecy which tells of the end of all of the 7 Lantern Corps Red(rage), Orange(greed), Yellow(fear), Green(will), Blue(hope), Indigo(compassion), and Violet(love). The black power battery's Corp will be the Black Lantern who draw their power from death. And that's just the short form of who he is.

As for your other question I hadn't even seen that section before. Guess I'll scan down and try there as well.

*edit thanks for the advise Taaron. I got a reply in the other section earlier today.
