Leader Class Jetfire Coming to the Revenge of the Fallen Toy Line?

Recommended Posts

Ugh... am i THE ONLY ONE WHO READ THIS FROM TOY FAIR?

TRANSFORMERS MOVIE FIGURES

(Approximate retail price: starting from $12.99; Ages: 5 & up; Available: Summer 2009)

For more than 25 years, TRANSFORMERS action figures have been known for their “MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE†play pattern, with robots converting into vehicles, and then back to robots again. In 2009, TRANSFORMERS movie action figures featuring the new film’s most popular characters will be available in three scales: DELUXE, VOYAGER (larger scale), and LEADER (largest scale and includes lights and sounds). DELUXE includes 24 characters, VOYAGER will offer 11 characters, AND LEADER WILL FEATURE THREE, INCLUDING OPTIMUS PRIME AND JETFIRE.

My thoughts exactly.

Thank you for saving me the trouble of looking that up to post.

The sad thing is we now know all 3 leader class, and unless they change their minds and add more that's it. There's a whole bunch of figures I'd be way more likely to buy than reworking of Prime and Megatron. I would imagine a large chunk of the willing to spend $40 on a toy demographic already has Prime and Megatron from last time.

It's the top back middle section of the jet.

that's exactly why I was happy when I found out that prime would not be a leader class for animated...gave us a nice magnus :D

i'm surprised only two other people have acknowledged that article confirming the leader jetfire.

if prime and jetfire do combine, I hope that it'll be more like RID omega prime, where ultra magnus becomes armore for optimus, rather than the lame armada combo. makes me sad that hasbro doesn't do chrome anymore...i just love my shiny omega prime

Here's hoping to an incredible Prime/Jetfire combination. That would be sweet..., and probably the only Movie figures I buy this time around.

And yeah, I agree with Astronut, that piece is a portion of the back of the jet, that unfolds into a/the weapon for Jetfire.

I wouldn't bitch if he just came out with a "First look at Leader Jetfire" post and gave us all a good look. But there is a pattern of dragging it out for no good reason. Now we're seeing parts. What's next, a shot of his torso plate? Then his leg? I mean come on. It's like the same jackass from The Arker who put the logo right over leader Megatron's face a few days ago. You have to know that wasn't an accident. It's a power play. "haha, I got the picture, and only I will know what he completely looks like. Everyone else can stare at my logo!" People need to get over themselves. If he was really trying to show the community this figure, we'd see every bit of what he has, RIGHT NOW, not some attention getting ploy like 'here's a piece, there's a piece, now a blurry bot mode shot, etc..." On top of that, I'm sure people from HasTak are looking for this guy, as somehow he's swiped 90% of their ROTF toy line right off the factory floor.

And this differs how from real life? I'm not sure where you frustration is coming from, but last I checked most fansites have the same 'problem'. There's not much which can be done about it, so it's best not to let it get to you. Insulting people definitely won't make the situation better, either.

Ever think that maybe this is part of Hasbro's marketing ploy for us? I'm thinking that he got those direct from Hasbro with instructions to tease us.

would this be his left or right wing?

It's the tail of the plane between the verticle stabilizers
