I have list of EVERY Target in my Area and Exactly how many Nemesis Prime Figures they have on hand. From what i can tell each store only gets about 4

i musta looked pretty tired cuz b4 when i asked, i got the meanest rudest women who literally said "thats all we have, is whats on the shelf"

i've been hunting TFU NP for almost 2 months now

i work at Target, with a DPCI you can get a list of all stores in the area that have a particular item, and how many of that item they have. the area search is limited to around 10 stores or 100miles (distance wise). the only problem is that the list is only accurate to when the stores all opened in the morning and thus can be highly inaccurate. ;)

 

edit: and if they say "all we have is what's on the shelf" they are likly lying. there is almost always more stock in the backroom depending on the store of course. unless they scan the item with the gun (LRT/PDT) to check if they have backroom stock there is very little chance they really know if they have it or not.

I was informed by the worker that those numbers aren't for customer service, and I gotta wait til it goes in stock on shelf...They also said they will not save one for me when it does, because they dunno when that will be, and "First come, first serve...just be sure to call ahead before you make the trip.."

 

*edit* I was also given this same speech last year concerning Unicron, and that same manager also informed me she doesn't worry much about the toy aisle, which is why its not often stocked(they have a TRU next door and don't really think it's worth the trouble)...most of her time is put in the electronics...

also, do not threaten the manager with wrestling moves -- i've found that doesn't work...i know nothing....

you can always have any item put on hold for up to 24 hours.

 

edit: also ANYONE at ANY register in the store can look up those numbers. i believe it's K4 then K2 on the regular cashier registers and K5-K2 on the guest service registers. anyone that tells you that they can't look it up either don't know how or are lying and being lazy.

What I do is go in person and punch it into the keypad next to the self-scanners. If it shows in the stockroom and isn't on the shelf, mention that you did it and it showed in stock when asking :thumb

 

First attempt at Nemmy, I didn't mention it, and was given the "that's all we have" routine (cost them a sale, I had two deluxes in hand I was going to buy at the same time, and instead put them back after that :P) Second store, another part of town, I mentioned it, and he went back and brought out the case! :thumb

 

I went to my local one to look for one for a friend, doing the same thing, and again had it brought out! :D

 

If there's anyone else in the Buffalo or Rochester NY area, here's how it panned out:

 

1) Williamsville, on Transit Road -- the sale-costing lie and/or laziness (it showed in stock) -- this was August 28

 

2) also August 28, Niagara Falls Blvd. near I-290 -- got one, for myself, and I think the rest were returned to the stockroom

 

3) September 18 -- Henrietta store (next to Marketplace Mall) -- got one for a friend, and it looked like the other three were headed for the shelf! :clap

 

 

edit: Yup, he ships four to a case, by himself :thumb In Henrietta, all four were brought out loose, while in Buffalo the still-sealed case was brought out and opened right in front of me... :drool
