What would be next?

In refrence to the starter post I mentioned Wheeled Warriors.

Just gotta say that today I added the Battle Base to my line up.

Just need a Gun Grinner and a Trail Blazer and I'm done(save for the $6k Zoggies).

It's a predicament though. I've always loved this particular toy line, and although it is now where near as extensive as TFs it does bring up the origional question of whats next?

I'm almost done with the Wheelies.

This is when the collector in me starts to feel satiated but the fan is still hungry. I don't want to put them on a shelf doomed to dust. But do I turn my attention to army building, or maybe MIB concerning these.

I've never been close to the end of any collection before, and I have to say it adds a new dimension to the question...

If I went on to another line after completion of all tfs

All yamato macross stuff

*looks at you yf-19*

webdiver or chokogin would be interesting

It would have to be any thing that was a transforming robot line esp if they had air based alt-modes.

got me to thinking though.... :lurk

I never see myself as ever having all tfs- even in fantasy.

Even if I had millions of $, I'd never get everything of a line, just what was really awesome.

I had a lot of g1 while growing up, but after sitting up one night and making a list of all the ones I had and lost, I discovered that I only wanted 2 out of the hundreds on the list (sound wave and snapdragon)

(never had a predaking so I want one!)

same with any subsequent line, only the "coolest" ones.

I'd have to agree with you N8, as I don't ever intend on having a HUGE collection, I'm happy with a handful of things that I really REALLY love. BUT, to answer the topic at hand, I'd probably move into the world of Warhammer 40K. Not necissarilly get into the hardcore gaming side of things, but I really dig the figurines and associated accessories. Plus I love painting those little buggers, and there's heaps of customizing support.

I know this is supposed to be about what if TFs were totally done but since we know they never will be totally done here's what I'll be collecting this summer. I just went to Wal-mart and found what I'll collect for myself while TF universe is on hiatus until after the movie. The 3.75" DC Universe figures, and when they start coming out the 3.75" Marvel Universe figures. Finally Marvel and DC figures that are the exact same scale. I got Superman and Batman. It looks like from the pics I've seen that the 3.75" scale Hulk will be around 5"-6" tall, and there is a Gorilla Grod in the DC line coming out that looks to be about the same size as Hulk.

Kitbashing and getting my own designs into plastic.

Current project: 12-changer.

(Still needs some polishing - minor details and colors may change.)

Here's the premiss, Transformers, you got it all and there was nothing left. What would you start to collect next?

Purely hypethetical, you have all the funds you'd need in a steady flow and more important space, what would you do?

Godzilla

DC Universe, especially the little figures

Doctor Who

I'm really liking those little DC Universe figs. I just started getting them last week and I'm up to 12 already, and I'm thinking about getting the Defense of OA set Monday. Then the Metropolis set Thursday.
