How Many Transofmers Toys Are There?

Recommended Posts

OKay, this is instantly being changed from the list all TFs Ever Made  Project to the No Bizzmoff's Allowed Project. :)

Is that payback for this? Read the post 8th post :)

Can it be done? Has anyone tried without spiraling into madness? I tried it once, and after about an hour I peed my pants and forgot who I was for twenty minutes....

There are over 100 Minicons, Micromasters and Spychangers alone. Then there are over 100 Japanese toys we never got. With all the repaints It would probably be impossible to count them all. Hasbro has a very good Checklist but they stop with Amada if I'm not mistaken and they dont have Japanese releases listed.

Gotta catch 'em all.

I'm guessing about... 5000. Not including stuff like headmsters to be induvidual from their bodies. And i'm sure there are way more then 100 jap. exclusives. More likely 500 or something.

I know Hasbro used to have a list on their website regarding the G-1 toys by year. But a complete list of all TF's. Seems almost impossible. I think it would humble us all.

You must go sepperate and set the rules for such a listing, example:

Only one noting per mold.

Similar molds with slight remolding do count as sepperate molds if they are also different characters (example Alternator Hound and Alternator Swindle count as sepperate, but 20th OP vs MP OP do not).

Only true transformers count (so no pvc nor actionmasters).

Listing per series and only the main versions count, as in American and Japanese releases with the adition of exclusives of other countries that are unique molds.

This way you can get a descent listing of all different molds ever used and made.

What I have done with my TF Master List/Dictionary is just start with the '84 US issues and work from there. I have the mold date(s) listed and if the toy was a Diaclone, Micro change, Beetras, or whatever before it was packaged as a TF. Then I note if it's been reissues, repainted, or retooled and what year that was done in. It all starts to cross reference. Then you mix in the other markets and the lines go all over the place. Not to mention the Lucky Draws and eHobbies and store exclusives. Let's just say that it's not complete yet :tftongue

No way, IT CAN BE DONE! Everybody take a year and look for them that way, i'll be taking 2003. Lets just hope i can do this!

its just not posible

After looking at DragonX76's checklists, I have been wondering just how many Transformers toys were ever made. By how many, I am talking about individual toys made for release.

I've compiled an Armada Checklist based on Hasbros site...

If you see something wrong in it or whatever, let me know :thumb
