Will the new transformers movie be less violent

Recommended Posts

I mean, it's going to be hard to kill more TFs than in the first.

no, its not goin to be a kiddi movie, it aimed at all the fans fomr the 80,s, it will be much more mature, and violent, there may even be gore

the 1st movie wast that vioilent, thou percieved in our memories as such. some bots got F'd up but most of the killing was off screen. and ultra magnus got wasted and reassembled

I don't believe gore will be involved. Mostly I think they will aim towards a pg13 rating, so as to have more ticket sales.

it will be robotic gore, you know lubricant and oil and stuff. doesnt sound rated r'ish to me though. i would like to see megatron take some army commander in his hand and crush him like a grape. that would be the Sh!t!!

well that cast is going to be 7 aside so the big rampages in the first maybe be cut down to a small skermish but i hope im wrong

Lubricant and oil sounds pretty R-rated to me. :redface

i was thinkg there are 7 core characters per side; i think i read somewhere that they are intending to have a larger cast for cameos and such, but the story will focus on the core characters; so i say bring on the violence, just so long as its not completely over the top

yes there will be cameo's of other bots but if i had to guess i'd say they'll mostly be at the very beginning if they start the movie off like the first cartoon, from cybertron and it will probably only be a short scene. and possibly in some flashback scenes. hopefully they'll have some good battle sequences with some fodderbots getting blown to bits that would be neat.

i don't envy the people making this movie one bit! theres soooo much to try and work in and so little time to do it. any way you look at it there will be lots of people pissed off that they didn't do this or that or have their favorite characters...blah...blah...blah.

the best way to approach this movie as a fan in my opinion is to forget everything you know about transformers and pretend this movie is something totally new, which in a way is true because they've never done a live acton movie before. if we get bogged down in pointless comparison between the movie and comics/cartoons then you can bet it will make it much easier to be disappointed.
