New Shots of the Universe Seacons

That orange is just to bright, they should have used a far darker red for those parts, meh.

Actually, I like the red now, it's the seafoam green that looks out of place. All the other colors are similar medium-dark, saturated colors, except the green. Of course, you can never tell in these photographs.

I don't know why everyone is so hot on the G1 colors anyways. I could never get past the pink and teal.

Dude, I just dont get it. With all the newer, awesome molds that Has/Tak has access to, why release some outdated group of bricks that even looked hokey in '88/'89, whenever they were released? Blech. Look like blockish happy meal toys. Someone break out 6 body bags!

granted im sure they could come up with new seacons that still combine, but it just wouldnt be the same

They look interesting, and I am thrilled to see that in addition to Nautilator (I think he was the one "lost" or not used in the BW2 God Neptune release), Hasbro is also including the original weapons and accessories.

Interestingly, according to many of the Mods at 2005 (who still have a chummy relationship with the Hasbro TF group), these will get released in Energon packaging, rather than Universe. Apparently Archer said as much at OTFCC as well.

Given the relatively poor sales of the Walmart exclusives, as well as the fact many upcoming exclusive are labeled Energon (even those with older product), this does make sense, especially with the combiner releases in the fall/spring.

I love how they look, and will getting them for sure.

the colors are kinda "eh", but I'd love to get the complete set. I never got 'em the first time around

1. A new chance to own these toys at an affordable price.

2. Nostalgic factor involved.

3. Completist

4. Owned the originals and wants them again.

5. They still look good after all these years.

Hm, guess I'll be saving my hard earned money.

Already own the original and that's more than enough for me.
