Wow this thread is getting very specific. Robots wouldn't need two hands to fire a weapon. They're a precision machine. That's just my take on this subject.

i make you right - but why would a precision machine need a backup weapon to hand???

Why do they have hands - I mean, they are robots built for war... Why not have everything inbuilt?... And why don't they talk in binary/Cybertronian?

It's all dramatic license...

*is a rightie*

I say most of them are right-handed, even Shockwave (if you were going to have a weapon permanently attached to one of your hands, would you put it on your dominant hand? I wouldn't. BASEBALL GLOV'D!)

The only "leftie" TF I can think of in my personal canon is G1 Inferno.

I'm usually right-handed, but once a day I turn a leftie. So the guns go left.

Um..., I usually don't take the weapons out of the box..., so I've never even given it a second thought...? Right now MP Prime has his axe on his right stump, and MP Megatron has his mace on his left stump..., but that's because the fusion canon on the right, and I wanted the two of them to be opposed. Otherwise, it just happens to land wherever it goes..., I've never paid any attention to which hand I was putting them in, but as someone else already said, shoulder canon usually means gun in opposite hand.

I've always had Megs as right handed because at the end of the day you know what he is doing and why he's doing it, he's the only decepticon without a hidden agenda... maybe cyclonus too.
