I have long been a supporter of bbts.com, but things like this just make me shake my head and wonder about their pricing guidelines...

I mean, really?

Hey, if they can sell it at that price, more power to them.

Not as bad as Hasbro selling AFA graded crap at high prices.

I guess that you are right - if they can sell it at those prices, then why not?

Which actually disturbs me even more; knowing that there are people who might actually be alright with paying these prices for "vintage" items.

But what about the new collector, who might not have the luxury of knowing what a "fair" price would be for a toy?

I dunno... lately it just seems like the people who price the "vintage" items are being a tad unrealistic.

how vintage is something that is 6 years old.

i'll sell my armada prime for half that ban be happy. galvatron looks overpriced too.

that is vintage? Man I thought I felt old when I heard Pearl Jam on the Classics station...

It's labelled in the Armada Section, not Vintage Section, right?

Cause here is the Vintage TF Section:

Whatever. BBTS is for imports or impossible exclusives for me, and even then they've been slipping. I know they're charging top dollar for "Vintage" so I stick with the auctions concerning those items.

If some one was dumb enough to pay that though, it's on them not the store. Like the guy who though Big Convoy for $110 was a steal, ask around before you buy.

Well...BBTS has some awesome prices on a lot of stuff too, however, they also have some high (and very high) prices. I find them pretty well-balanced overall. IMO, I like BBTS cause they usually have stuff I want for prices I'm willing to pay. Doesn't mean it's prices others would pay though.

Although their prices are high, most of the items I went through are sold out or out of stock. That tells you people are buying from them despite the high prices. They gotta make a profit right?
