Wanted to try out a pic without inked lines, in the style of E.J. Su's covers from the -ation comics.

Tried to stay true to the toy designs, Grimlock's colourscheme is a mix of the Classic and Henkei toy.

Background was a little rushed :P

I design in Blue pencil and then color in Adobe Illustrator.

I draw most of my pieces by hand with pencil (and ink them when working with black lines).

After that I scan them to pc and put the colors on in Photoshop.

you totally need some 3 point perspective buildings in the background. that would set if off nice.
