What types of paints do you use btw?

I painted his first coat with a silver krylon paint..I didn't take him apart or anything, like I normally do, I just covered him. I let him sit a few weeks after that, while working on other projects, and came back to him randomly, first using testors gun metal grey to blotch up the silver, and then again, came back later, and started off on one foot adding solid flat blacks using kinda like a reverse dry brush, where I took lots of paint on the brush, and then just smeared it around till the brush was dry, and then brushed over it again to get it roughed up. I then added a light gold wash over him, thicker in some areas to accent the silver, get him kind of coppery, kinda stained looking, and then added more black so that it had more contrast over the gold wash. Finally I went regular dry brush, and added some more silver highlighted areas where I thought the black got too much. I probably should have looked at him in alt mode while doing this to make the paints and stains match up more, but I kept him in bot mode, and tarnished him more to that mode. Hard to say how long though, I ususally worked on him on my lunch, but definitely a couple hours.

how do you paint the fine details?

With small brushes, and a some what steady hand?
