What's your opinion about Classics Superion & Bruticus

Recommended Posts

Since it's an attempt at G1 combiners, I think Hasbro should have gotten creative with what they had available.

First, no clear weapons. Why use the Energon gimmick when it doesn't apply here? The parts that form the hands and feet should have been in colors to match the rest of the toy.

Second, no doubling up on molds. In anyone's eyes, this is a rip-off. Why should kids get four different toys to play with when a pair of the same toy will suffice?

My kids don't mind repaints. In fact, they kind of like them.

I don't like them as much myself.

Repaints spread out at random or repaints like what Hasbro did with the Energon combiners?

Well there's a legit reason for each combiner team containing only three moulds.

i'll display the energon combiners separately & these combined (hey it's better than buying doubles)

I like repaints. Especially jet repaints. :redface

:con yeah me too i love jetformers

Jetformers are pure sex if they're done well. Otherwise, they're usually worth it at least for the jet mode. Then there's the movie Dreadwing mold which defies all logic as it's poorly executed(awesome robot mode, but a WTF robot mode) but I can't help but like it anyway.

instead of releasing these, i wish they'd release some G1 gestalt repaints like they did with the Bruticus/Ruination ones.

but i'll get them both.

Either way.

Heck, *I* didn't mind repaints back in the day. *cough*seekers*cough*
