Thanks to TFieds seller duocons, it looks like there will be some new Generation 1 remakes coming. The new molds include action figures Cyclonus, Scourge and the Mail-away Edition package Reflector set. They appear to be from the same makers who did the Dinobots and Optimus Prime and other figures that come in high quality packaging. You may view the images of all three remakes in the image gallery. Oooh...Reflector.

I don't like em. IMO they are just high price knock offs and I wont have anything to do with them. Now other people might see them as an alternative to a reissue but to me these toys just stop any chance of a real reissue because they flood the market and kill off some of the demand needed in order to green light a reissue. but hey that's just me

Oh dammit, I thought they were Encores. KO's = pass x infinity

Yahoo Reflector! :clap Kinda wish I had em though, :tflaugh

perfectly said dude

Wow!

Has anyone bought any of these? Are they any good?

Apparantly, they're indistinquishable from the real thing, which makes them "counterfeits" not "knock-offs", since knock-offs are obvious cheap imitations and don't try and pass for the real thing.

And, unlike most "reverse engineered" knock-offs, the company that produces these appears to have access to the original molds. (My guess is they were one of the companies that Hasbro contracted with in the 80s to produce Transformers and discovered a bunch of the old molds in storage somewhere.)
