I am hooked. Its not all great; the Headmasters aspect is kinda lame IMO but overall I like the IDW take. Thus far, I've read Infiltration, Escalation, and Devastation TPBs. I would've gotten Stormbringer but it wasn't available at the time I picked up the other three. I also have AHM and the War Within Omnibus on pre order. Outside of the Spotlight TPBs I was considering is there anything else that I should pick up?

Upcoming, we have -Grimlock -Wheelie -Cyclonus -Hardhead What other characters do you want to see spotlighted? Personally, I don't think the cons on Earth have had much characterization, and I'd love to see a spotlight on any of them (Blitzwing or Astrotrain in particular).

I know Budiansky wrote, drew, and edited many Marvel comics including Transformers. And I think he worked with Sunbow to get the cartoon going. Is he the one that originally created/developed the characters of the originals like Optimus Prime and Megatron. They were just Japanese Micro Changes before that right? If he did develop their profiles who does it now and why doesn't Budiansky get more credit? Is he still alive? Is he ever invited to conventions? Why the hell does no one try to get him involved in the Transformers projects of today? I loved all of the comics Budiansky worked on including Ghost Rider and Sleepwalker. Comics now are all about the art…

What? IDW Just ruined the TF comics even further.... So another Marvel TF G-1 Decepticon leader gets killed off in the IDW TF G-1 comic? I read on another TF forum that Ratbat got killed in the IDW TF G-1 2012 comics recently. I haven't read the issues yet,so can't confirm anything. Is IDW on a mission to ruin the TF comic fiction? Honestly,IDW's TF comics is horrible in both story & art compared to Dreamwave. marvel had better TF stories/persona's. Personally,I feel, that when simon furman got taken off the TF G-1 IDW comics, that's when everything when downhill. I'm a bit upset because IDW just killed off another Marvel TF G-1 Comic decep…

Hey all! Im a little in the dark here. Was there a new TF G1 mini series series that continued after the "devastation" mini series storyline? I have all the previous G1 mini series and thats where I left off.

I just started buying some of the newer comics after finally finding a comic store in my area. I bought the first three of the maximum dinobots books and im really enjoying it. I've never read the infiltration - defiance line so some things are out of my knowlendge along with what ever happened in some of the spotlights, but I want to know what else i should read. should i get the tpb of infiltration, escalation and defiance? is all hail megatron good? is it inter twined with the other set of books?how about hearts of steel? was it any good? I just want to know what everyone thinks about them.

well i got 1 and 2 is three out? if it is then im making a stop to my local comic book store tommorow, but when are the rest of the release dates?
