I read it yesterday in Newburry Comics and damn Blitzwing and Lugnut go at it not without a little help from Swindle though. I was trying not to laugh but I did and some dude next to me (Also a TF fan, reading All Hail Megatron) started laughing too. Damn I hope they incorporate even more humor in Lugnut and Blitzwing in season 3.

Another classic audiobook from the 1980s comes ot you from Retro Robot Radio and Tformers.com. This one is Slaves of the Insecticons, and is set after the book we shared two weeks ago, Jaws of Terror. This book starts to work in some of the season 2 characters, with Blaster appearing on the inside cover, Skyfire fighting the Decepticon jets, and a super rare appearance of the Deluxe Insecticons as villians! So hold on to your seats as you listen to this 1986 retro audiobook by John Braden (writer for TV series like Magnum, P.I., The A-Team, Knight Rider, Dukes of Hazzard, and The Fall Guy!), with illustrations by Pablo Marcos (a prolific 1970s Marvel and DC arti…

Some time about a year or so back, Dreamwave (Pat Lee? Simon? James & Adam?) commented on their plans to incorporate the Japanese-only Transformers into their G1 universe. I recall something along the lines of "we're gonna use 'Cybertrons' and 'Destrons' as the ancestors of the Autobots and Decepticons". Now, my question is: Where was this response published? Was it a) An online interview (maybe at Transfandom? Their articles are still offline, unfortunately)? b) An interview in Wizard Magazine (the one that had Pat Lee's take on Japanese-only characters)? c) One of DW's letters pages? A direct confirmation of the source, if possible even including a link o…

I recently recived thesebox sets Shipping took about 25 days, but that's what I expected considering the location. Once I opened then I founf the dvd's in plastic/cloth sleeves, the kind you get in a small cd storage case but I'm ok with that. The artwork for the box and the dvd's are all related to tf the movie. The Headmasters box set has the same cover picture as the U.S. version of the movie. The other two have movie related covers, and of course have nothing to do with Masterforce & Victory. I'm ok with everything so far, but the content of the disc gave me this look :tfhuh . These dvd's are in pal format, but I didn't care. I'd find something th…
