so last night i'm shopping with the lil lady, and we stop in a KB in the Roosevelt Field Mall on Long Island. we look around the whole store, and not a SINGLE Energon figure to be found. the ONLY transformers stuff they had in stock was a bunch of Armada mini-con asst. packs on clearance for $4.99. they didn't even have any shelf warming Smokescreen or Sideswipe Alternators. i know some KBs are going OOB, but this one looked completely stocked and fully functional. it was a sad day indeed....as i STILL haven't seen a ton of Energon figs in NY... :tfsad

sorry i dont know his name, but i just leardned that the screenplay writer hired fot the live action movie will be the guy that wrote 'CatWoman' ! WHAT THE HELL? IM SUPER PISSED OFF i'll bet he ruins this movie, somthing like kill prime or megs, its too bad, i was lookin forward to this movie

In the past few years, everyone and their mother have already come up with a gazillion of "working concepts" for Hasbro to reissue G1 Megatron (paint the barrel orange, paint the entire toy orange, release him in robot mode and don't mention the gun mode) or Fortress/Brave Maximus (improve the materials, release him as a model kit) in the US. I was watching TF the movie which i hadnt seen for a while and it occured to me that Hot Rod was either an imbecile who killed the greatest autobot ever or a power crazy opportunist who was possibly in league with the decepticons. Could his moronic gulibility be an act? Could he really be a master manipulator working his way up the autobot hierachy? He seems quite fond of killing/putting others in danger and cultivating this swashbuckling image but i fear his horrendoous paint job is to distract from his true motives. Discuss ;) P.S I hate Hot Rod and Rodimus Prime even more, what a sucky toy lol.

I have taken notice on Hot Rod and Targetmaster Hot Rod that their is a varaition in the guns. I am not sure which is which but, there is holes in the bottom of the peg. Does anyone know for sure which one is which? :tfgrin

At least not neccessarily. It seems to me that Optimus started a ceremonial handing off of the matrix, it was 'primed' (no pun intended) to band with its new guardian, and unfortunately, when Optimus faltered, Hot Rod caught it and it bonded to him. Had it been handed securely to Ultra Magnus, I think it would have bonded to him and that it would possibly have changed him somewhat too. What do you think?

I caught this video at Youtube, editing together a montage of pre-Transformers flashback sequences. And something occurs to me. Hot Rod was around before the Autobots and Decepticons split. He was brought into the fight BEFORE Orion Pax became Optimus Prime. And he was never put into suspended animation. So he's not really a hot headed young kid. He's just an impulsive dick without the Matrix. He's the Gary Busy of Transformers! And like it was in Energon, possibly older than Optimus (and by extension, Ultra Magnus?).

this has to be the oddest thing or my actions have followers who like me and try to out do me every single time..heres the story I been bidding on hot rod TRU reissue back about 1 month ago I check he went for like 10 bucks (talking about major here not prime hot rod) anyways I bid 10 bucks I get oubid on it no biggie im thinking theres more so I bid on another that week i bid 15 bucks ok now someone outbids me and I lose again no biggie I move on so next week I bid 20 bucks thinking im going to win again I lose the thing goes for 21 bucks didnt check auction ok bid again on another one im thinking 25 bucks will do well HELL NO it aint this time I lose by another 2 bucks…
