horrible KB experience...

Recommended Posts

so last night i'm shopping with the lil lady, and we stop in a KB in the Roosevelt Field Mall on Long Island. we look around the whole store, and not a SINGLE Energon figure to be found. the ONLY transformers stuff they had in stock was a bunch of Armada mini-con asst. packs on clearance for $4.99. they didn't even have any shelf warming Smokescreen or Sideswipe Alternators. i know some KBs are going OOB, but this one looked completely stocked and fully functional.

it was a sad day indeed....as i STILL haven't seen a ton of Energon figs in NY... :tfsad

Try up front -- the E-figs at my nearest one were on one of the "portable" racks as you go in...

That qualifies as a "horrible" experience? Grow a sack, dude.

:rofl

Isn't every KB experience a horrible one? :tftongue

That's what I was going to say! Number one, all of their Transformers are $2-10 overpriced! Even worse is all the KB's near me were closed down. So if I want to go to KB I have to drive to Butt F*&k Egypt to get to one and by that time, what's the use? They get things 6 months after the 8 month you had to wait for Toy r Us to get them! :grr

Yes, every KB is horrible. Mine is a little more up-to-date with energon figures such as Prowl and Rodimus.

i remember once KB had an online sale, that if you took advantage of it, would still cost you more per toy than if you ordered from other places online... no wonder KB is GOOB

That sounds like every time I walk into KB. The only advantage of them haveing out of date toys is the fact that they can put them on clearence. Powerlinx Prime for $25 is not bad.

I stopped looking in Kb when I went in one day and saw Unicron Battles-Red alert selling(or should I say trying to sell) for $34.99. :wtf
