Is it just me, or is Hasbro seriously leaning towards more autobots than decepticons in the action figure department? I was looking over just my classic/Universe08 collection and noticed that my autobots far outnumber the amount of decpticons that are available. Even the upcoming ones, the number of decpticons are way smaller than the autobots. Where are the insecticons? Reflector? and I'm sure all of you can name a few. Your thoughts on this?

Don't know if anyone already posted this but does anyone have any pix of the Autobot Team in robot mode and alt mode? I wanted to see if they are close to scale, I got BB and Jazz on my shelf and found Ironhide and Ratchet today and haven't decide if I'm gonna open it to display. I wanted to see if they look good on display with each other.

Autobots transform to bling-bling for Hasbro April 22, 2008 - A report from Hollywood Reporter on the power of films to boost the toy business reveals that Hasbro is feeling mighty after high sales, due in large part to 'Transformers' toys. Hasbro reported a first-quarter profit of $37.5 million, up 14% from a year ago thanks to strong demand for "Transformers" and "Star Wars" toys. Revenue rose 13%, or 9% when adjusting for currency fluctuations, to $704.2 million. here is the source

We all had our likes and dislikes about the series, toys and genre in general. This discussion is based on the goofs and idiomatic quirks about the series and the toys. Some starters: 1. Why are the Autobots so cool? They can't even fly for the most part. Autobot cars kicking the tail of Decepticon jet planes? WTF? 2. Grimlock, one of the strongest yet lacking wit, always has the ability to say 'No, me Grimlock no do what Prime say.' Clearly he was telling Prime to go F himself. 3. If Megatron is so powerful why he is such a loser? ie can never destroy the Autobots? (negating marketing issues and $$$ for Hasbro/Takara) 4. How do the Autobots get to their …

I don't know if this has ever been mentioned before but what if the tire of an Autobot (or any Decepticon with wheels) blows out? I mean, they're supposed to be like Earth vehicles so one would assume their tires are made of rubber that is reminiscent of the tires on Earth. So it would not be impossible for them to spring a leak or blow out altogether. That means that off-road handling (unless properly equipped beforehand) can lead to lots of problems during battle. Imagine the scenario: Tough guy Optimus leads his merry band of miscreant Autobots in hot pursuit of Megatron and his goons. But wait! Starscream has set up an ingenious trap and lays out spike strips…

So, as far as I've heard, Hasbro and Takara ( And I thing even most third party companies like Fansproject or Igear) use the AutoCad projram to design and create the Transformers figures we all know and love, right? If so, does anyone have a old Autocad file that I can access and edit? I'm not looking for a rendered media file, I'm looking for the cold hard file. Now, I'm not asking for the DOTM Sentinel Prime file, ( I don't really care if you give me the G1 Optimus file ) But the newer the file, and the larger the figure, the better. Why am I askin for this? I'm working with an autocad program at school, but I'm having trouble disigning some of the joints pi…

Alright, so the Toronto TF con is coming up, and Gregg Berger, the VA for G1 Skyfire and Grimlock, is gonna be there, and I'm hoping to get his autograph (if I can make it to the con, o'course :P) The question is, what should I get him to sign? Classics Grimmy is out of the question, nowhere good for him to write, but what about one of Jetfire's wings? If I sprayed it with clearcoat when I got home, would that preserve it? What about the packaging they came in, I'm pretty sure I've still got it hanging around. Or should I just get him to sign whatever's handy like a normal person? :P

Let's list the ones there are, and maybe we can help out those who may not be sure what ones there are although there may be. Here are the ones I know from what I have Jazz-pull roof down and head flips up and front section w/ grill and headlights locks into positions Ironhide-pull feet portions down to finalize transformation of lower legs Ratchet-pull feet out and the portion of the legs that say Fire Department come out at angles Prime-push lever and cab windows split and head comes up, activating lights and sounds Barricade has none what so ever Bonecrusher has one, but I'm not sure what it is exactly, though I'm hoping it's not his forked back weapon, cause…
