Upgrades

Hello...I had noticed that everyone has a Sunstorm, and I didn't want to get left behind so I thought I'd show you all mine... Fuzzy pics, stupid camera blah blah blah... The only way I could think of to make him look more like Sunstorm was to set him on fire. Thanks be to all the others that have come before me with this repaint...without your inspiration, I never would have had the courage to take a perfectly good Starscream and repaint him to look like a giant piece of Laffy Taffy.

I know its all been done before but this is my first ever repaint. Im more used to painting with the mouse than i am with a brush and after seeing everyone painting their movie figs i guessed it couldnt of been that hard. So i gave it a shot and this is how it cam out, im pretty pleased :D I also sealed it with a protective spray too. Taking the pictures was the hardest part haha P.S. Well here is my latest repaint/commission. Ultra Magnus. I also included a digi-bash that I was given by the buyer, as a template. Hope you all like. And before anyone can say it.....I know there is no head, the buyer has different head to put on from another source.

One of these was posted not too long ago, but I figured why not post mine. I recently had a chance to hack up an MP-01 Megatron accessory gun to fit with my WST Megs. The silencer got a little uneven at the back/top. I had the drill at the wrong angle. Oh well, I'm pretty happy with it. The stock was actually much harder to fit on than the silencer. As you can see, no mods were done to the barrel. In Prime's hand. Lemme tell ya, it took a while to get him wedged in there. From another angle. Ok, so it more of an action shot and less detail... I love this guy, but his main landing gear is just badly designed. The bottom of the wheel and the gear door are even, so he's resting on the edge of the landing gear door, basically. Has anyone addressed this?

Okay, so I picked up a G1 Jetfire recently. It's missing most of its parts (of course), but I have the leg parts and backpack/thrusters, plus the figure is in really good shape. Anyway, I've been trying to figure out ways I might make it look more like the animation model, but I can't come up with any ideas (other than making the visor blue) that don't involve serious kitbashing. Has anyone tried anything with this guy, other than your basic Decepticon/Macross repaints? Know any easy mods or fun ideas I might try out to fix him up a little?

Any Ideas to what I can do with a Armada Smokescreen and a Armada Cyclonus? I've got some spare one's cheap, they have their minicon and everything I just don't know what i could make them into. Please list your ideas.

I was thinking of doing this dodge into a kitbahs. I have ALt, smokescreen, sideswipe and hound. It really doesnt fit them at all. I was wondering if anyone have any ideas on this?

He's not out yet, but I was wondering if anyone had already started planning a custom with him.

I think this could be a really great figure, but I can't really seem to get the arms to pose very nicely... or they just pop off entirely. Anyone have mods or tricks that a novice could do, to get this figure to be really great?
