Ok, is this thing weird, or is this thing cool?

I work primarily with weapons and minicons (not with much success there), but I'm wondering what is the easiest G1 to repaint and get creative with?

ALT silverstreak acryli or enamel?

Decided to give it a go and do up a Prowl proper with Red alert and an extra Silverstreak I picked up for cheap (so I can keep the original Red alert pieces, just in case). I won't have much painting to do - just the head, chest, arms and legs, but I want to be sure I'm using the best paint for the job. Any suggestions? (I'll need both spray and brush work, I think.) Also, any way to get those legs apart? Can I knock out the pins or will that wreck them?

Now lets assume that I may or may not be affiliated in some way to a known maker of repro parts for customizers. What are some of the most commonly used stuff that you would like to have access to so that you can stop trashing good toys. Hands? Some more heads? Certain weapons. Basically, what else would you like to see made?

I'm looking into experimenting with custom painting, and I was wondering what would be the best paint to use. I already have some Tamiya brand acrylic paint, but if there's anything better out there, let me know please. :)

I'm wanting to paint alt Prime's truck mode in solid red (yea I'll be painting over the words and licence plate but ohwell), and I don't know whether to use krylon fusion or acrylics. Normally I don't like using acrylics since they chip when the plastic rubs together, but the truck mode parts don't do much of that. Help?

Question: What scale are G.I. Joe vehicles for the 3 1/2" figures? Those things are begging to be kitbash-fodder! :thumb

I just bought a VF-1S off ebay and it`s 8" tall I plan to repaint it into Jetfire but now I need a FAST pack that will fit it.
