Upgrades

Can anybody point me in the direction of some hints and tips for disassembling transformers? I've been looking around and haven't been able to find much. I'm kind of new to the whole modding thing, but I have a spare :animated Starscream which I want to repaint as :animated Ramjet, and I figure it would be easiest to take him apart as much as possible before doing so. edited to say thanks :)

Is thinner required, or will water do? I'm working on some painting projects, and one involves a statue of the next Prime. Tamiya paints are what I like the most because of how they turn out, but I honestly can't remember if they have to be thinned off the brush or not. If you guys know, I'd like some help. Also, do you guys know any tips for helping the paint last longer around joints? My Seaspray is taking a beating.

Well I`ve been trying to give my BT Rodimus just a little more fire power so I bought an old Firebolt and rebuilt and repainted him into Rodimus VTS. Better pics to come tomorrow.

This is a legends scale roller to go with your legends scale Optimus Prime toy. Optimus may not come with a trailer but that doesn't mean he can't have his little buddy with him. More than companionship, Roller now gives Optimus additional fire power when needed. Springing off of an idea inspired from Jozaeh's FANTASTIC looking Mini MP-10 project, I designed a legends scale Roller to go with it. Roller measures about 30mm long and is about 15mm tall. The original design that I came up with is hollowed out to make for a cheaper model and wheels were meant to roll. Unfortunately the plugs didn't turn out as I intended so I ended up having to glue them in place. It's kinda sad to have a Roller that can't roll, but there you have it. This is an idea I've kicked around for a bit. How about targetmaster weapons that transform into Battle Android Troopers from GI Joe's enemy, Cobra? They would have to be the original BATs, of course, because the newer ones mostly look like crap. Anyone have any thoughts on the best way to do this?

Has anybody thought of this? A minicon-style shockwave (with g1-esque features and colorscheme) I can't think of a single minicon or targetmaster that could work for that, but has anybody thought of it yet?

Well I've actually been posting about this guy on a few other forums, so some people may have seen the WIP elsewhere. But now he's done so showing it off in places I missed with the progress shots. hi guys i need help. i finally got my club figure in the uk and theres some kind on substance on the nose cone. it looks like glue. does anybody know what could get rid of it. please help guys
