  1. Started by Wu Long Ti,

I've started work on a line of non-transforming Action Master-esq minifigures. This line of action figures is based on a highly articulated minifigure endoskeleton to which armor parts snap on in order to complete the character. This is the Proto Action Former. This highly articulated minifigure stands at just a hair under 2" tall. The parts can be reconfigured into a multitude of different ways to form many different creations and body types. Different themed armor sets will snap onto this Proto Former to create different characters. This is a generic set of armor for me to use as a starting point when creating character sets. Being a generic I've decided to na…

Here it is, the biggest custom I've made so far. The Cybertronian Driller from Transformers Dark of the Moon has surfaced! This sucker is massive, over 3 feet long and weighing four pounds. The Driller was made from all sorts of stuff, most found at Home Depot and Hobby Lobby. The main body is a long section of flexible plastic pipeline with electrical conduit for the four tentacles that extend out, all bendable. Drills from Iron Man figures were added, parts from Avatar vehicles, Neo Shifters, metal pins, Sigma 6 weapons, train track, miniature fencing, and other stuff was cobbled together to create this thing. The center eye lights up and the different grindcore section…

  4. First of all I must say the paint job is not very nicely done... I was trying to make the red chrome effect like the RM-10 and I must say its really difficult, esp when I wasnt using the proper paints... I sprayed over a coat of chrome paint as base color and then used CandyToneRed as the finishing color... because of the waxy chrome property, the CandyToneRed paint really peels off as easy as a fingernail scratch(thats my headache... :redface ).. okay enough complaining... here are the pix... Truck mode... alittle different...

here are the latest pics of this guy... painted wheels and cool decals now. i have this listed in the end cap. lemme know if you're interested. OLD MESSAGE -- I got a repainted alt deadend via a trade and it is absolutely wrecked... the only thing that's worth anything of salvaging is the head. BUT, is there a chamical that I can soak the parts in and take the paint completely off without warping the plastic? I don't care about the finish of the plastic, just that is doesn't warp or soften. I thought about mineral spirits... but not sure. The paint is so thick that it won't completely transform either... i hope someone has done this/is a chemical expe…

  10. Started by revlimiter,

I've been working on hacking Camshaft into Wildrider for nearly a month now. I'm finally feeling done. Or, at least done enough to post some pix. (copy of the thread I posted at tfw2005. Hope no one minds) Wildrider is sporting custom reprolabels, red-out windows, lowered suspension, and the old scissor door mod that's been around for so long. Rear 1/4 view - I just love the scissor doors. As you can tell, I was going for boy-racer. Stunticons love the ricer look. The doors still close. This shows the custom stickers a little better. They're just the standard GTS Camshaft set with red instead of blue. The hood stickers looked like ass, so I left them …
