Hey, posted this at the Allspark but I didn't get a lot of replies so I thought I'd share it here too for you guys to see. This is based on G1 Pretender Finback, but isn't exact as I don't believe homages always have to be the exact same to be good. Basically I hoped Finback would be the figure's name when he came out in the U.S., but since it isn't I thought I might as well make my own. I like doing homages that people won't always think to do. His bio can be found HERE. Please let me know what you guys think. :tflaugh

Thanks in part to this particular forum, I have been experimenting with several ideas for kitbashes on my own. I have no experience painting Transformers, and just seeing the sheer amount of creativity from TFans and another board I visit (Transtopia) I decided to throw my hat into the ring. All of my ideas are in progress, so I will update as much as I can, and hopefully some of you veterans out there can answer some of the questions I have... I have had an excellent experience using Krylon Fusion paint, and the only real thing I've noticed, is that you have to get it right the first time...the more you layer the more susceptible to fingerprints/markings the …

Well, i just recently got photoshop, and while I was trying to learn how to use it, I decided I'd start with a simple character: Magnus. So here it is, the craptacular GF MAGNUS! **Edit: Yes, I know there are tons of spots that are either 1) Not coloured 2) Messy My reasons for this: I'm lazy. :thumb

You can check out some pics here Pre-Gallery. http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZtfmaster I hope you guys like him. The lines on the car were painted by me and the head adjusts up and down as well as lift and turn side to side. The paint job was done in homage to G1 Primes side trailer sticker simplified. Think of it as, If his "WW self" got a Alternator upgrade but with a bit of "Old School" homage in there as well. TFM

Some photoshops I did a while back. This is the first one. I made it a Skyline Cop car. Used it for a sig for a while.

First up is Alternators Dead End I finished making all the windows, head lights, and tail lights on alternators dead end, dark transparent red. Now it looks just like the back of the box!! I think it looks much better this way. I hated the pink windows. This guy looked pretty sweet in alt mode already, now he looks really nice. they should have made the windows red in the first place, then I wouldn't have had to spend 3 hours making them red. took me a while, and the front windshield was a pain, since it doesn't detach from the dashboard, I had to to it a different way then the other parts. but its all good. done now!! looks great, enjoy! Oh yeah, I apologize …
