Wow, long time no post, huh?? Well, I've come back, and with a BANG!! I have here today the Hunt for the Decepticon's Sidearm Sideswipe!!! He's bee completely repainted in automotive grade car paints, testors enamels, acrylics, and metalizers.I also modded the backpack kibble to be removable by turning the connecting arm on the body side into a C clip. 4. Started by My Alt. Mode Sucks,

Cheggit. I decided to give him some black flames. Gotta love Sharpies. Enjoy and things. I think.

  5. Looking at CGI and movie images, the front hood part on Sideswipe/Swerve's foot was making me less than pleased. To give him more "accurate" feet, I simply broke off that hood part and sealed it back to the rest of the hood (see second pic) I shaved around where it used to be (on the foot) making the brake rotor visible all the way around. in the example below, I filled and sanded the small gap where I attached it back on the hood. He still stands great (using the heels as support)View the Custom Gallery Here

  7. Started by Deadpool,

Here is a repaint of Sideswipe in car mode. The recolor is not that noticeable in robot mode but a least now he does not look so girlie next to Deadend.

  8. Started by Paul Prime,

I added pieces of plastic to make him a modern soldier. Same with his weapon. http://photobucket.com/albums/f107/PaulPri...%20Sam%20Stern/

  9. Started by WarMachine,

I`ve always wanted to find a way to alter Sideswipes hood so it isn`t hangin off his a$$ as much without removing it. So this is what I came up with. It still limits the leg movement in the rear somewhat especially if you wanted to place him in some sort of running pose. Anyway, to me it is still better than the previous.

  10. Started by masterminicon,

I had a thought. I was looking at Red Alert in my newly arrived copy of the TPB of MTMTE Vol 2 reprint by IDW. I've always known that Red Alert was a repaint of Sideswipe, but a thought crossed my mind. If I used the appropriate paint, or commissioned someone to use the appropriate paint and just applied the paint, no apps whatsoever, would it work if I tried using the G1 stickers from Red Alert if I ordered some from Reprolabels? Take a look at the stickers and tell me what you think. I have a junker Sideswipe, and I was thinking of using his head as a spare, so I'd have a red head and a black head and change it whenever I wanted to, kind of like my Premium BB ha…
