Everyone's favorite Autobot with an Napoleon complex always gets the short end of the stick. First we get a Bumblebee figure, then a repainted BB with a horned head for our Cliffjumper. It ain't right! This custom was inspired by the All hail Megatron comic, as the character art really sets him apart visually from BB. The head was sculpted from a Cybertron Megatron head. The hands were replaced with ones from an Alternator. The torso was re-sculpted and other parts of the original figure (M.A.R.S. Converter Drifter) was modified from the original. Enjoy!

Dark of the Moon Megatron needed some serious upgrades out of the box so I rolled up my sleeves and hit the workbench for this one. First there's the new head and chest both from the voyager Revenge of the Fallen Megatron. I sculpted the inner damaged sections of the head and custom fit the chest with magnets so it's removable. Metal chains were added to suit the look of Megatron onscreen as well. His hands were build from scrap fodder parts like Spawn Interlink and Doc Ock claws and the new forearms came from different parts as well. Megatron's hips have been modded to give him more height, spikes added to the grille and roof of the cab, and extra tires to the outsid…

A lot of us probably want the new animated figs to do well. They have nice sculpts, especially Megatron but many of us stare at them and feel like we are staring at a naked supermodel with bad brown teeth...just one little thing wrong with them in the face department! So, I was thinking. How hard would it be to digibash the animated figs into looking a bit more, well, "correct" in the eyes of anyone who is, say, over 5 years old? I have prepared two mock ups for your viewing, ahem, pleasure. In the Prime example, Ive merely fiddled around with the original head and in the BB example, Ive given him a classics head. Now I'm no Da Vinci, so Im hoping more of you…

I know what you're thinking: that Crosswise mold? Snoresville man! It's all over the place! This horse has been flogged to death and flogged again, sir, and it was ugly to begin with. Quarterpanels are hanging off the poor guy's arse, his shoulder-doors are silly, and he's got yet another tedious, kibbley shield. Or does he? What sorcery is this?! you are undoubtedly asking. Here's how it works: That's two medium double ball joints and an h-joint on the roof/windscreen. If I had it to do over I'd swivel the hood on his back so that the outside is showing; but a lot of stock bots have open, busted backs clearly not meant to be seen, so I'm not too upset. I…

I had been holding off on buying him untill I looked into him better and finally broke down and got him this morning. Three hours after I got up this afternoon I was done redoing his head. First up is his rail gun mode a suggestion from my friend Smokescreened: Next a full bot mode shot: Now a close up on his new G1 styled head: Now I just need to get 2 more and remake them into Prowl, and Bluestreak.

Anyone know who made this, or who currently owns it now? It was from a Botcon 2001 submission..... Looks like it has a Manga Spawn base with added miscellaneous parts. Any help would be appreciated... thanks! -Joe
