First, a quick disclaimer: "None of the bots here are by me or in anyway connected to me. They have all been made by some very, very talented bods here at TFans and at other TF sites. I havent included names here as Im tired, so my sincerest apologies to not giving credit where its most certainly due. I found this when I visited Macross world's forums: http://www.thetf.net/forum_posts-TID-13204-PN-1.htm Apparently, Hydrogen peroxide that is used in bleaching hair is what is used. The poster caiutions about wearing rubber gloves when using, and that leaving the glass jar with the parts in the sun is what makes it work. Follow the link and read the post for more details.

I was disappointed by the recent CW Optimus. It's a well articulated fog, well balanced too. But his short legs and the head bummed me out. So I CAD drafted and 3D printed a new MP-10 styled head, a more G1 like Ion Cannon, leg extensions and gas tanks. And WHAMMO, Leader Class Prime, standing just over 8" tall, he stands eye to eye with Leader Class Jetfire. The Alt mode is a little awkward, but I think the bot mode makes it worth it. Enjoy!

I've been debating wether or not to buy the Cl Op vs Megs and then remembered that someone had meantioned when we saw the original pic of him that he looked like he could be Bludgeon. So I decided to digibash him and maybe depending on what you guys think I might get the set and repaint/resculpt the Megs into Bludgeon. So really what do you guys think and be brutal if you see fit.

A lot of us probably want the new animated figs to do well. They have nice sculpts, especially Megatron but many of us stare at them and feel like we are staring at a naked supermodel with bad brown teeth...just one little thing wrong with them in the face department! So, I was thinking. How hard would it be to digibash the animated figs into looking a bit more, well, "correct" in the eyes of anyone who is, say, over 5 years old? I have prepared two mock ups for your viewing, ahem, pleasure. In the Prime example, Ive merely fiddled around with the original head and in the BB example, Ive given him a classics head. Now I'm no Da Vinci, so Im hoping more of you…

Finally finished my first kitbash. Didn't turn out the way I hoped but its not bad. I'm satisfied with it. Here he is first in car mode.

"I love the smell of capitalism in the morning"...said some greedy bastard :-) If I could have chosen the look of Optimus Prime through out these past 3 films, this would be it. In addition to the weathered paint work, Optimus also carries 2 3D printed ROTF inspired Buster Cannons, a shoulder mounted chain gun and a my take on an updated version of his G1 Ion Cannon, also created with a 3D printer. His cab roof gave me some drama in his Alt mode, but I really enjoy this bots great look. Enjoy!
