I just picked up a Star Wars Transformers and I noticed the spin disk which has the Vehicle to Mech mode. This seemlike it should come on all Transformers what do you guys think?

A friend gave me this unknown figure. She knows nothing about nor do I? It's not a transformer, b/c it does not transform to a robot mode. It does have articulation in the leg joints and the head can turn side to side. What is this "warrior warthog"? What toyline is it from?

Thought this might be of interest to some board members. I was at a Toys R Us store today and they have a sale on Transformers, buy 2, get third free. Unfortunately, at the store I was at, their selection was horrible.

One of the coolest toys made in my mind is TRANSMETAL 2 CHEETOR. Great Cheeta mode as well as a fantastic robot mode. Both modes displayed a feeling of power and ferociousness that almost no other BEAST WARS figure was able to convey in my opinion. That being said...what the h-e-double hockey sticks happened to his right hand?? The left was able to swivel around perfectly, giving him great playability as he was able to hold that hand cannon of his flawlessly. He was even able to shake hands with other figures. I hit paydirt! FINALLY I got the Takara TF Collection #0 Optimus Prime and at a steal at that. I found him sitting on a shelf with some Gundum Robot Models at my local Hobby Shop no less. I've always wanted the re-issue of Optimus but missed the chance when they were at TRU. I've also seen them go for big bucks on ebay. But to find the Takara re-issue is something special. The best part about it was I bought it for only $80 bucks. I love Takaras packaging job they did on it plus it comes with a binder where you can put TF Tech cards. G'day. This is my first post here. I've only recently got back into collecting Transformers after what must be a 10-year hiatus (the movie sparked my interest so it's done at least one thing right!) Anyway, i don't have any of my original transformers anymore, my 'grown up' teenager persona traded them with a friend long ago :( My very first decent sized transformer was Soundwave and i just have to get him back! So that (basically) leaves TRU Soundwave or the upcoming Encore Soundwave. Yeah, just wondering if Hasbro/Takara will be releasing anything after Roadblock and Starscream. Will we see Scattershot?

So I've recently ordered the Hasbro Classics Astrotrain after being awed by the many reviews I've seen of it on Youtube. From what I've seen he's absolutely spectacular. Then today I noticed something about the reviews. In each and every one of them the arms come off of the balljoints at least once. Are there any horrible QC issues with Astrotrain or were those reviewers just incredibly unlucky? I've looked up QC issues on Astrotrain on Google and I found nothing, so I assume it's not TOO big of a problem. If anyone has any information, give me a shout.

I just got MP Prime today and he is freakin' awesome. I was looking at the wheels and I noticed they said "Desert Dog Formula" which is the exact same thing the original Optimus' wheels say. I didn't read about this before and I thought it was a neat little touch. Oh, and that light up matrix chamber is practically a damn flashlight. I think I'm going blind.

So i picked up a Deluxe Prime Ratchet yesterday while i was in CO for the day. it's a cool figure. Wished it was bigger but i'll live. There's supposed to be auto morph feature which when you pull his back pack back, it triggers his head to pop up. Mine didn't work. I opened him up and noticed that he lever that should be triggering the with isn't long enough. not sure if i got a bad figure or not. But i triggered his head to pop up and thats how it's going to stay. Ratchet can go back into vehicle mode without the head being in the way. it'll just stick out underneath the vehicle mode. he can watch as the dirt flys by. just a heads up to anyone planning on picking hi…
